Brooklyn art rockers, Big Figment to play fundraiser show for new album

11171911_2521125429971_905634231_o My pals Big Figment are putting on a show in Williamsburg next Saturday to help raise funds for their new album. It’s going to be an all day event featuring some of Brooklyn’s most creative peeps! Here’s their official press release:

“Big Figment invites one and all to a multimedia salon and barbecue at the Elysium Garden (44 Maujer St., first floor) in Williamsburg on Saturday, May 2nd from 1PM to 10PM. It will feature a broad spectrum of performances (poetry, lecture, sci-fi caricature, and music). The event aims to raise funds for the band’s debut LP, with Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen.

Katie Longofono and Joe Deutschmann will emcee performances by:

[music] Broad & Ry, Scouts, Love Spread, What Prey Tell, Dead Dubs, and Big Figment

[poetry] Jerome Murphy, Marina Weiss, Seth Graves, Allyson Paty, Alex Morris

[lecture] Aukosh Jagannath, Sarah Brunstad, Olivia Bloiso

Refreshments and grilled foodstuffs will be available, including vegetarian options. Please note the $5 cover charge; re-entry permitted.
